Kurt Perschke is uniting cities all over the world with his Red Ball Project. The goal of this venture is place a giant red rubber ball in different major cities across the globe in the most ordinary locations of everyday life. Perschke then photographs the resident’s interactions with red ball, making sure to capture their confusion as wonder how it got there in the first place. The Red Ball Project has already visited Toronto, St. Louis, Barcelona, Phoenix, Tapei, Sydney and Chicago, in addition to many other cities.
